Tim joined Murfett Legal in July 2024 as a Senior Associate.  Tim has significant commercial experience, having previously worked in boutique Perth firms.

Tim has experience negotiating, drafting, and advising on a broad range of commercial contracts.  He also has experience in estate planning, commercial and civil litigation, property, intellectual property, tax, and administrative law  

Tim acts for a variety of commercial clients including public unlisted and private companies, trusts, family businesses, professional services firms, indigenous corporations and not-for-profits across different industries.  Tim enjoys assisting his clients with their day-to-day corporate governance and compliance queries. Tim also provides structuring advice to emerging businesses and prepares and advises on shareholders’ agreements, unitholders’ agreements and partnership agreements.

Tim holds qualifications in Law and Commerce (Hons) from the University of Western Australia. 

Tim enjoys building ongoing relationships with his clients by providing commercially focussed and practical legal advice.
