Mariam previously worked at two leading regional law firms in Dubai, undertook in-house legal secondments across both the public and private sectors, and served as a government legal practitioner at a competition regulatory authority.

Mariam has experience negotiating, drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and has acted in numerous commercial transactions, including private M&A and JVs.

Mariam acts for a variety of clients including public, private companies, partnerships, trusts, family businesses, professional services firms, aboriginal corporations and not-for-profits across different industries.

Mariam holds qualifications in Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (LLB & LLM). Mariam also completed an internship at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), Palais des Nations, Switzerland.
