Fabienne joined Murfett Legal in May 2025 as Special Counsel.  Fabienne has over 25 years’ experience working in the Courts and Tribunals of Western Australia across a wide range of civil and commercial areas.

Background Details

Fabienne has enjoyed an extensive career spanning both general civil and commercial litigation and a variety of claims focused upon the protection of personal rights.  She has been fortunate to work alongside some of Western Australia’s most preeminent litigators and Counsel in her previous roles at both national and boutique law firms.

Fabienne has substantial experience in the areas of general commercial law, defamation and tort law, trust disputes, intellectual property and professional regulation.

Fabienne’s areas of specialist knowledge and expertise are litigation and dispute resolution, and defamation law.

Fabienne has a strong commercial acumen and pragmatic and insightful approach to dispute resolution.  Her clients have included individuals, companies (both private and listed) and regulatory boards and agencies.

Fabienne holds qualifications in Law and Commerce from Murdoch University.
