Daniel Parr
Dan Parr is an Associate in Murfett Legal’s Insolvency and Litigation team. He began his legal career in Melbourne at a boutique firm specialising in financial services disputes, complex litigation, and regulatory matters.
During that time, Dan worked on several high-profile matters, including the Melissa Caddick investor class action and ASIC’s ongoing First Guardian investigation.

Dan has acted in personal and corporate insolvency matters, commercial disputes, class actions, and regulatory investigations. His experience includes preparing pleadings, affidavits and submissions, managing large-scale evidence and discovery, coordinating with liquidators, receivers and counsel, and assisting clients responding to compulsory ASIC notices and examinations.
Dan was born and raised in Perth and has recently returned after several years working in Victoria.
Before entering full-time practice, he volunteered at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre in Collingwood, assisting clients with fines and family law matters. Between university studies, he also worked in highly regarded restaurants in London and Melbourne.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys fitness and spending time with his dog.
