Caleb joined Murfett Legal in February 2022 as a lawyer in the Insolvency and Litigation team. Since being admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2016, Caleb has worked in-house and at a full-service global firm in both Melbourne and Perth.

Caleb joined Murfett Legal in February 2022 as a lawyer in the Insolvency and Litigation team. His practise has since expanded to our Commercial team assisting across both teams.
Since being admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2016, Caleb has worked in-house and at a full-service global law firm in both Melbourne and Perth.
Caleb has significant experience in working with legal technology and a strong understanding of the financial services industry, where he has assisted in large scale litigation and discovery. Caleb also has experience negotiating, drafting and advising on a broad range of commercial contracts as well as commercial transactions, including structuring, intellectual property and both commercial & private lending transactions.
Caleb is passionate about emerging technologies with a keen interest in blockchain technology and smart legal contracting. Caleb understands the complexities of this technology and firmly believes in the mainstream adoption, benefits and efficiencies it provides in both a commercial and social aspect.
Caleb has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) from Murdoch University, where he also completed the International Human Rights Program in Geneva, Switzerland. He has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and is currently admitted in Western Australia as well as the High Court of Australia.
Outside of the office, Caleb enjoys time with his dogs and spending as much time as he can with anything to do with the water.
