Gabriel Wong

Gabriel joined Murfett Legal as a senior associate in April 2019 with almost 20 years’ experience in advising clients in relation to property, trusts, Wills and estates, and general commercial matters.

Primarily working in the property section at Murfett Legal, he regularly provides advice in relation to the acquisition, development (both greenfield subdivision and multi-level mixed use strata developments), leasing and sale of residential and commercial property.

Gabriel also has broad commercial experience.  He regularly advises and prepares documentation in the areas of Wills and estate planning (including drafting complex Wills and testamentary trusts), estate administration (including acting in numerous inheritance claims), and trusts (including reviewing and amending trusts deeds).

Gabriel is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia where he is a member of Law Society's Property Law Committee as well as the Elder Law and Succession Committee.  He is also a former member of the General Conditions for the Sale of Land Committee and the Law Asia Committee.

Gabriel assisted in the establishment of the WA branch of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA) where he remains a committee member. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA), and the Western Australia Singapore Business Connect (WASBC).
