Henry van der Westhuizen

Henry is an admitted South African attorney, notary public and conveyancer with experience in property, commercial and insolvency law.

Henry was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 19 October 2018 and joined Murfett Legal initially as a lay associate pending the issuing of his Western Australian practising certificate. His practising certificate was issued in November 2018 and Henry commenced his practice as a lawyer at that time.

Henry has sound knowledge and experience in commercial and insolvency law in excess of six years working with financial and banking institutions, as well as start-up companies and government departments.

Henry joined Murfett Legal in October 2018 in the commercial and insolvency departments.

Henry is fluent in Afrikaans and has a keen interest in sport and music.  In addition, he is an activist for animal rights and in future wishes to promote animal care and welfare.
