Daniel commenced practise as a commercial lawyer in 2016, advising on business structuring, trusts, transfer duty and capital gains tax matters, asset protection, self-managed superannuation funds and estate planning.
In 2017, Daniel moved to a boutique litigation firm in pursuit of his passion for insolvency, bankruptcy and commercial litigation, making various appearances in the following forums:
In November 2018, Daniel joined Murfett Legal in order to broaden his exposure to a variety of litigation matters.
Daniel’s experience in practising litigation is focused on complex debt recovery proceedings, judicial review applications, bankruptcy matters, construction contracts and home building contracts disputes, statutory demand set aside applications and breach of contract matters.
Daniel acts for a variety of commercial clients, including liquidators, trade creditors and commercial building developers, and enjoys working and strategising with clients on a personable level. He enjoys building ongoing relationships with clients by providing practical legal advice.
Outside of the office Daniel spends his time flying single-engine aircraft and studying aviation to obtain his recreational and private pilot licence. When on the ground, he enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, and in particular, golfing.
