Victoria joined Murfett Legal in June 2021 as a Lawyer. Victoria has experience with civil and commercial law and litigation, having previously worked in boutique firms in Perth CBD. Victoria was promoted to the position of Associate in July 2022.
Victoria has a broad experience over general commercial matters including contractual disputes, debt recovery and general commercial litigation, including preparing and advising on commercial documents.
Victoria has acted for individuals, as well as a variety of commercial clients including private companies, trusts, family businesses, professional services firms, not-for-profits across different industries. Victoria enjoys assisting her clients ensuring that they can properly understand the legal processes relevant to their circumstances. Victoria also provides advice to emerging businesses and prepares and advises on company documents, such as terms of trade, shareholders’ agreements, unitholders’ agreements and partnership agreements.
Victoria graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Chinese Law. Victoria also completed the International Human Rights Program, in Geneva and an intensive Chinese Law course at the City University of Hong Kong.
Victoria aims to build ongoing relationships with her clients, by being responsive to their concerns, and providing commercially focussed and practical legal advice.
