Rouchelle Wykes is the Financial Controller. She is also a Certified Practicing Accountant. Rouchelle is responsible for providing high level, strategic and managerial advice to ensure the firm’s set performance levels are achieved.

Rouchelle has over 15 year’s business experience; including working for accounting firms Price Waterhouse and Marsden Partners.

Work History:

Rouchelle started her career with Price Waterhouse after completing a double major in Commerce and Economics. She worked in Business services and later moved to the Audit division at Price Waterhouse.

Rouchelle left Price Waterhouse to travel. On return she commenced working for AMP specialising in Investments and superannuation where she won several awards for achievement.

After completing her CPA Rouchelle moved back to tax, accounting and finance commencing with accounting firm Marsden Partners. After 3 years with Marsden Partners Rouchelle accepted a position with The Town of Bassendean as the co-coordinator of Accounting Services where she provided high level, strategic and managerial advice to ensure sound Financial planning and reporting practises were implemented to meet statutory and organisational requirements.

Rouchelle commenced employment with Murfett & Co in September 2000. Rouchelle has worked hard to help create the firm’s culture, systems and success. Rouchelle has committed herself to building and developing a more successful and effective firm. Rouchelle oversees the firm’s finances, management and compliance. She is also an integral part of the firm’s efforts towards continuous improvement in all areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce, Murdoch University
• Australian Society of CPA
• Marketing Certificate - Clements School of management
• Accreditation and Authorities held in ISC - Insurance and superannuation commission
